Our Story

In 1928, Jacob Pasternak opened Dallas Cap & Emblem a one-room office in downtown Dallas, Texas. Rosalie Pasternak, the second daughter of Jacob began working part-time in her father’s factory at age 16, joining him full-time after college in 1950. Upon Jacob’s passing in 1962, The family operated as Dallas Cap & Emblem Company until 1985, re-opening as Classic Caps as it is known today. In 2015, Rosalie passed her company to Valerie Granat. Frank Rosenbloom & Valerie Granat, two of Rosalie's 7 children, continued the company, with Frank retiring in January 2021.

Everything from changing the style and utilization of caps, with an eye for creating the most perfect fit and comfort of caps available in our market today. This can be seen in our custom sweatbands and our extraordinary research and development to our prototyping of new caps for both internal and external customer usage.

Our Approach

Today we specialize, and custom design, American made and sewn products.

Classic also decorates blank goods by either embroidery, screen print, or a combination of the two.
