About Classic Caps

Our Story

In 1928, Jacob Pasternak opened Dallas Cap & Emblem a one-room office downtown Dallas, Texas.

Rosalie Pasternak, the second daughter of Jacob began working part-time in her father’s factory at age 16, joining him full time after college in 1950. Upon Jacob’s passing in 1962, Rosalie, inherited her father’s business. It operated as Dallas Cap & Emblem Company until 1985, re-opening as Classic Caps as it is known today.

In 2015, Valerie Granat and Frank Rosenbloom, two of Rosalie's 7 children, inherited the company, with Frank retiring in January 2021.
